New Program!

Movies & More (via Zoom)

Tuesday, March 9 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Moderator:  Elaine Braff
Modeled on our very successful Books and Bites, this new program asks participants to watch a film at their leisure and join the discussion.
Our first film will be: What the Constitution Means to Me (streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Fifteen-year-old Heidi Schrek earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the US.  In this hilarious, hopeful, and achingly human show, Heidi resurrects her teenage self in our to trace the profound relationship among four generations if women and the founding document that shaped their lives.
This remarkable film touches on themes dear to NCJW/Essex – Women’s issues, immigration, and Supreme Court decisions.  It is provocative and will open your eyes to the blessings and the curses of our Constitution!
Free, but registration is required, and attendance is limited to 30 participants.

If registration is full, please contact Gail at to be added to the waiting list.
