New Jersey’s dense population and prominent location along the Interstate 95 corridor make it a magnet for human traffickers. But agencies throughout our state have coordinated efforts to help stamp out this “modern day slavery”. Join us as we hear from both a detective and prosecutor who helped coordinate the recent raid and prosecution of traffickers, as well as the head of anti-human trafficking efforts at Covenant House, which provides counseling, shelter and essential services to survivors. Learn about human trafficking situations here in New Jersey, understand the impact on those affected and find out what you can do to help.
