MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

photo
NCJW President Sharon Falkin, left, with Isabel Margolin, immediate past president at the NCJW Installation in May.

As I write this, my first greeting, I realize that it is also the first day of summer. I am looking forward to many "firsts" as I start my first term of office. The NCJW leadership is gearing up for a number of exciting events and programs.

With the political season in full swing our Advocacy department is busy developing the Promote the Vote initiative. The Fund Development department has come up with inventive ways of meeting our fiscal commitments. And the Community Service department will be kicking off our first Back To School Store.

So while Essex County Section is busy with many new firsts, I hope you will take advantage of what we offer to do some things that will be 'firsts' for you too.

Have a wonderful summer! Sharon Falkin
