WELCOME TO THE NCJW BACK 2 SCHOOL STORE!

On Sunday, August 1, NCJW will open its second annual Back 2 School Store at B'nai Shalom in West Orange. For one day, 350 underserved children from the Essex County community will be able to choose brand-new clothing, school supplies, and personal care items to help them get ready for that most important first day of school filled with confidence!

The Back 2 School Store is generating an exciting buzz among our members who've been asking what they can do to help right now!

Here are a few suggestions:

• Mark your calendar for Sunday, August 1, 2010. We'll need more than 250 volunteers on shopping day - including men who make excellent shoppers for the boys, store organizers and restockers! We will also need more Spanish- speaking volunteers. Volunteer opportunities will be available in the spring. Check future publications and our website for updates.
• Let us know if you have contacts that might be helpful for donations or have good deals on children's clothing, sneakers, backpacks, school supplies and personal care items. Contact Cathy Silverman, NCJW Executive Director at 973-740-0588 or csilverman@ncjwessex.org.
